Terms of Service

The agreement between you and Maktab Quran when you use our platform.

Last updated: 1 July 2026. By creating an account or using maktab-quran.com, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Our service

Maktab Quran provides an online platform for live, one-to-one Quran lessons, connecting students with teachers and offering a synchronized Quran display, video calling and progress tools.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when registering and keep your login details secure. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account. Accounts for children should be created and supervised by a parent or guardian.

3. Payments and cancellation

Paid plans are billed monthly at the price shown on our pricing page. Plans are month-to-month and you may cancel at any time; cancellation stops future billing. Prices in currencies other than USD are approximate conversions.

4. Teachers

Teachers who join our directory are responsible for the accuracy of their public profile and for delivering lessons professionally and respectfully. Teachers must have the right to teach the content they offer.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the platform, including by harassing others, sharing harmful or unlawful content, attempting to disrupt the service, or impersonating others. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms.

6. Respect for the Quran

Maktab Quran exists to serve learners of the Quran. All users are expected to engage with the platform and its content respectfully.

7. Intellectual property

The Maktab Quran name, logo, design and original content belong to us. Quran text, translations and recitations are provided through third-party sources and remain subject to their respective terms.

8. Third-party services

The platform relies on third-party services such as Google Firebase and Jitsi Meet. Your use of those features is also subject to their terms and availability.

9. Disclaimer

The service is provided "as is". While we work hard to keep it reliable, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Maktab Quran is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the service.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
