The 1-on-1 Private plan is the way we recommend learning: five live, 30-minute, one-to-one video lessons per week with your own teacher, at times that fit your life, moving entirely at your pace. It gives the fastest progress because the teacher hears every word you recite and corrects you instantly. No features are held back — synchronized Quran display, word highlighting, Tajweed colour-coding, mistake tracking and progress reports are all included.
The Group Batch plan exists for one reason: we believe cost should never stop anyone from learning the Quran. You join a small batch — never more than 10 students — for five live 30-minute group classes per week at fixed timings. Classes are structured so every student recites individually and gets corrected in every session, with the same synchronized Quran technology. It's a genuine, teacher-led class at a price almost any family can afford.
For children, this is the traditional maktab format — the same teacher, five short classes a week, a small group of peers. Parents can read what to expect age by age in our guide for parents.
Why two plans?
Most online Quran academies bury you in confusing tiers and add-ons. We keep it to two honest choices: the closest possible attention in a private lesson, or the most affordable way to keep learning in a small group. Whichever you choose — complete beginner starting Noorani Qaida, a child building fluency, or an adult perfecting Tajweed or working towards Hifz — the teaching and technology are the same.
Affordable, wherever you are
Our pricing is shown in your local currency for transparency — US Dollars, Indian Rupees, British Pounds, Australian Dollars and Canadian Dollars. At roughly $2 per live one-to-one lesson — or about 60 cents per class on the Group Batch plan — Maktab Quran is a fraction of the cost of in-person tutoring.
Pricing questions
How do I pay for my classes?
Payment is arranged personally over WhatsApp. Message us on +91 84216 71164, tell us which plan you want, and we'll send you the payment details that suit your country — then activate your classes as soon as it's received. There's no checkout page and no card stored on our site.
Is there a free trial?
You can create your account for free and explore the platform. Speak to your chosen teacher about a trial lesson before committing to a monthly plan.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. There are no long-term contracts — your plan is month-to-month and you can cancel whenever you like.
Do you offer family or sibling discounts?
We're happy to help families with more than one learner. Contact us and we'll arrange the best option for you.
How big is a group batch?
Never more than 10 students. Classes are structured so every student recites individually and is corrected by the teacher in every session — it is a real, teacher-led class, not a webinar.
Is the group plan as good as 1-on-1?
For the fastest progress we recommend 1-on-1, because your teacher hears every word you recite and the lesson moves entirely at your pace. The Group Batch plan is our way of making sure cost never stops anyone from learning — and you can upgrade to 1-on-1 at any time.
Can I switch between plans?
Yes. Plans are month-to-month, so you can move between the Group Batch and 1-on-1 plans whenever you like — just contact us or tell your teacher.
How are the other currencies calculated?
Plans are priced at $40 USD (1-on-1) and $12 USD (Group Batch). Prices in INR, GBP, AUD and CAD are approximate conversions shown for convenience; the amount billed is based on the USD price.
